Sintron Kossel revisited

Preamble

Revisiting the Sintron Kossel build – Fixing the Nema 17 steppers to the axes of the base.

Notes

  1. Fitting the steppers to the axes might be easier first, rather than after making the triangular base
  2. Holes in the axes help the screwing in of the motors
  3. 8 mm bolts are used to secure the steppers to the axes. However, if dampers are used then, due to the reduced thickness of the damper plates, 6 or 5 mm bolts are required, as the 8 mm bolts will not tighten sufficiently, as the depth of the threads in the steppers is too shallow.
