- Fitting the steppers to the axes might be easier first, rather than after making the triangular base
- Holes in the axes help the screwing in of the motors
- 8 mm bolts are used to secure the steppers to the axes. However, if dampers are used then, due to the reduced thickness of the damper plates, 6 or 5 mm bolts are required, as the 8 mm bolts will not tighten sufficiently, as the depth of the threads in the steppers is too shallow.
